Beautiful Butterflies

It's been a while since I done a challenge, but when I saw the sketch on the clean and simple stamping blog, I knew I had to give this one a go.

The different, but similar butterflies from the papillon set were an obvious choice and I just love this colour combination of burano, papaya and navy.  I have to confess that plan a did not include the venetian background, but as I looked at the card it clearly needed something extra in the focal panel - I did not want to add another colour to an already bright card, and then is struck me that the background stamp would pull everything together.

Don't forget to 'like' me on facebook (see the button top right) for a chance to win some pearl stickers. (I will pick a random follower at the end of May, must be a US resident and over 18 to win)

All the supplies for this card are from Amuse Studio and are available here.

stamps: papillon, venetian background, sunny side of life
paper: burano, papaya, navy, sugar
ink: burano, navy, papaya
misc: scallop die (medium)
