It's been a really busy and productive crafting week for me. Dave Brethauer from Memory Box was giving classes at The Paper Garden in Sacramento and I treated myself to TWO classes - one on using water colours and a holiday class. I've always liked stamping because it requires and eye for colour and layout, but my complete lack of natural artistic talent is reasonably disguised. Using water colours is well outside my comfort level, but I'm going to persevere. I plan to spend the afternoon practising.
This blog has also pushed me to be more creative, I can't just copy something I've seen on the internet, I actually have to create. Krystie's Muses group has a new blog
Studio Stampers and each week they will have a challenge - this is my response to the first challenge.
It didn't come out as pink as I wanted it too, but its simplicity has grown on me overnight. All supplies from Amuse Studio and can be purchased
