This was my first attempt, a pretty literally interpretation of the sketch:
and here's a close up,
Materials: Amuse Studio sugar paper, burano paper and ink, venetian background, love me do, love is in the air
I was ok about the result but not ecstatic, so here's my second attempt. This second card wasn't quite such a literal interpretation but I think I like it better - maybe it's just that I love the burano / rialto colour combination - the 'absolutely fabulous' stamp is years old by rubber stampede and the 'congratulations' is from a Hero Arts graduation cling set. The papers are from Amuse Studio
As I watched the videos, there were so many useful tips and ideas that I have previously missed as a principally self taught stamper - I strongly recommend you check out this class, either now (when we have access to the tutors if we have questions) or in the future when it will just be as is. I am certainly going to check out some of the other offerings. I only have two concerns about the class - what will my bank manager say? and What will my house look like in two weeks?!
