Nugget Treats

A while back I saw these beautiful nugget treats on Laura's blog, I made literally dozens of them for the craft fair last week - and I sold out within 15 minutes of opening.  I guess I need to make some more for the craft fair on the 1st!  Thanks for the wonderful inspiration Laura.

First, using my new Christmas favorite color - evergreen:

I apologize for the poor photo quality - it's raining cats and dogs at the moment with no sign of a let up for the next week, the poor lighting and the reflective wrapper made it impossible (for me, anyway) to get a halfway decent photo.

The bags are from clear bags, and fit four Hershey's nuggets just perfectly.

I cut 4 strips of sugar measuring 1" x 3 1/2", stamped the image in the middle and wrapped round a Hershey's nugget- into the bag they went (which has a flap with an adhesive strip).

For the topper I used a 1 1/2" x 3" piece of sugar, mounted onto a 3 1/4" x 3 1/2" piece evergreen, scored and folded along the longer edge at 2 3/4".  A small red star completes it.
