Trick or Treat

Sometimes, when my muse deserts me, I like to start with a card and build a set around it.  In this case I started with a card in the AMuse Studio holiday supplement (click on the link in the bar on the right for the online version), kept the same basic design and changed up the colours to suit the images.  I was VERY pleased with the results:

First up, a pumpkin in orange - note the halloween washi, orange glitter, and crystal glaze on the toffee apple.

Next, a little red devi - with red glitter, holiday washi and even more toffee on the apple!

Now a wonderful witch, in purple and green - more halloween washi and black glitter for this one

Now the more observant among you will have noticed that I changed up the layout for this one - I had already made the background when I realized that it looked better with the image on the left this time - I showed it to my daughter to get her opinion and she told me that in her photography class they were taught that the subject should always look into the picture - it clearly works for stamped cards too!

I applied my new found knowledge to the last card - the cutest mummy ever!

It really works!

All the supplies to make these cards are available from Amuse Studio here

paper: sugar, orange, cherry, grape, onyx polka dot, grass polka dot,
