Seattle paper on which I stamped with Versamark first the aspen background and then the snowy day background, a thorough dusting of white embossing powder and heat set. The two birds from the on the wing set were stamped in cherry onto a scrap of sugar. I used a labels die to cut out the shape for the greeting (from making spirits bright). some twine and a puffy tape mount complete the picture.
Next, I stamped the trees in seattle onto sugar card, added cherry birds, a quick spray with stardust finishing spray and a touch of glitter where the snow would lie. Just to change things up a little I used the labels stamp set to create the outline.
Lastly I stamped and embossed the trees onto eucalyptus, did the birds as in the first card, used slated stitched grosgrain ribbon and winter sky woodgrain for the label. For this card though, I stamped the snowy day background onto our crystal clear paper using white staz on. It was really difficult to photograph but the second picture gives you some idea.
So there you have it, three very different looking cards, but with all the same elements - which do you like best?
