Earlier in the week I shared this spinner graduation card that I made for one of my daughters house mates, I was really pleased with it, but it did leave me with the problem of making another card, different, but just as good. This is what I came up with:
I had great fun trying to get a good photograph, without too much shadow - I swear it didn't look as bad in real life, so I squished it so that you could get a good look.
and for the second day running, I stamped the inside - thanks Seleise for being such a good influence!
I remember seeing the tutorial for this type of card in the run up to Christmas, and at the time I thought it would make a good graduation card, I think I was right.
Again, I choose the blue and gold colour scheme - I'm actually quite lucky that the school colours are so tasteful - when I made graduation notices for my neighbour's daughter this was definitely not the case!
I discovered the hard way that you need to use double side card stock for this card, so I'm using some blue from my stash, possibly Michael's, although it feels a little heavier weight than I would expect. The tassel is a shortened tassel from Impress. The rest of the supplies are from Amuse Studio
stamps: con-grad-ulations, say it with style, tini time
paper: blue from my stash, vanilla, bellini, bellini pattern, onyx
ink: memento black tuxedo, bellini
misc: tassel, onyx mini brad

This is awesome! I have a son graduating high school and we will be attending many grad parties so this will definitely be a card I will make.
