Christmas Squares

Today's card is a remake of a card I made a few years ago, just changed up the stamps, colours and papers!  I have to say, I like it much better now and the new Amuse Studio stamps seemed to be asking for this treatment.  The sentiment set, (holiday greetings inside and out) is just beautiful - so clean, with just enough detail to keep it from being boring - and it stamps like a dream.  I have a feeling you may see a lot of this set in future postings.

Small images were stamped onto 1 1/4" squares of sugar card.  I then coloured them using copics - I was particularly pleased with the stripy green ribbon on the parcel, achieved by colouring the whole ribbon in new leaf and then going over it in stripes with the colourless blender - magic!  The squares were then mounted on 1 1/2" squares of candy cane card.  I wrapped the ribbon round the card base, hiding the join behind the present, and attached the squares.  Stamp the wonderful greeting and done.

All supplies are available from my AMuse Studio store.  Contact me if your order will exceed $150 so that I can get you your extra benefits.
