There's a new blog in town!

Have you discovered Studio Stampers yet?  It's a new blog created by Krystie Hersch for her downline.  Every week it features one of the team and a challenge,  a great way to push yourself just a little outside your comfort zone.  Each challenge remains open for two weeks while the blog gets going.  Last week's studio stamper was Kari Bell and her challenge was to create a card inspired by this beautiful photo, full of pinks and apricots, with just a hint of green.  Just looking at the picture sends me to a wedding in a marque somewhere on the south coast of England!

I took the pink and apricot roses quite literally and used them as the basis for this card.  The first step was to stamp the rose several times on the sticky part of a post it note and cut out the image.  then I used the masking technique to stamp the roses and foliage on the card.  The perfect sentiment, stamped onto a small oval of green, and a backing of green and pink and the card was complete.
