Smile

Another card fro my January class, a marriage of two cards by the wonderful Julie Ebersole and a third by Heather Scott

The finished card folds flat(ish) for mailing, although I think I'd put it in a bubble wrap envelope for extra protection.

Start with two pieces of sugar measuring 4" x 7", scored at 1" and 1 1/2" from each end.  Cut a square window out of one of them and stamp the sentiment, then fold as in the lower picture.  Use the impression plate to emboss the dots on to a piece of winter sky measuring just less than 4" square, sand lightly to reveal the white core underneath.  Stick to the back of the card.  Arrange the clouds and washing line with the base bent as in the picture, then stick the top and bottom together. (If you want to be sure the card will fold flat, squish all the folds flat (so that you have 2 pieces measuring 4" x 5") while you stick it down, then re-inflate)

Once again, materials are from Amuse Studio

stamps: hand scripted
paper: sugar, winter sky, cherry
ink: slate
misc: cherry bakers twine, heart trio die set, cloud duo die set, dots impression plate, sanding block, mini clothes pin
