Just one of those days...

Okay, so determined to keep my commitment of posting today, I sat down after lunch to make something beautiful, and sat, and sat.  Nothing.  I fiddled and fiddled and eventually decided to stamp this wonderful sentiment on a scrap of card and see where it led me.

I thought it might look good on the seattle polka dot and I happened to have this card laying  about, so I turned it over and started playing with the layout.  At last I was happy with it ...

... so I stuck it all down and ooops, now my card has two fronts!

On a completely different note, Santa brought me this portable light box for Christmas.  Here is the original photo of the card

and here it is in the light box - isn't it amazing how much more definition you get (not completely sure how I feel about that - you can clearly see a couple of rough edges on my fussy cutting now!)

See you tomorrow!

All the supplies for both cards are from Amuse Studio, for details on the second card, please go to my previous post here.

For the first card, I used:

stamps: love me do
paper: sugar, seattle polka dot
ink: grapefruit
misc: heart trio dies, shell felt, blush bakers cording
